 - Zion will present the living last supper on Thursday, March 28 at 3:30 and 7:00 p.m.

- I am looking for a few parents who can check out (and renew) library books as we complete the research portion of our small group research papers in April. Email me if you can help!

- Save the date: Third and fourth graders will sing at Zion's 11:00 a.m. church service on Sunday, April 21.

- Third graders are leading prayer during Zion's morning announcements. 

- As our math concepts become tougher, it is important that students have the multiplication facts memorized. Please encourage extra practice at home if you notice your child struggling with certain facts. Click here for some ideas that could be tweaked for multiplication facts; a website that we often use in class is this one

Memory

Tuesday: Honor your father and mother (this is the first commandment with a  promise), that it may go well with you and that you may live long in the land. Ephesians 6:2-3

Friday: none (No School)

Religion

We will begin Unit 8- God Works in Me to Follow His Ways- by learning about the first four commandments.

Spelling
Spelling Pattern:
"each" like bleach
"oil" like foil
"ush" like hush.

Challenge: Easter, tomb, Alleluia, celebrate, empty.  

Math
We will focus on division story problems, division number sentences, and multiplying by 10, 100, and 1,000.

Grammar
We will focus on possessive pronouns, which show that someone owns something. ("His hat," instead of "Sam's hat")
 
Health
We will review what we have learned about our body's systems- respiratory, circulatory, muscular, skeletal, and digestive. Our Chapter 1 test will be on Tuesday, March 26.
