News and Classwork

Information
- We have begun our group research project. So far, groups have written bibliography information and browsed their animal books. Next week, we will continue paraphrasing facts from the books.

- Steps are being taken to remodel the Jr. High building and main school bathrooms this summer, and plans to add more preschool classrooms are being developed. Keep up with Zion's "Second Mile" campus expansion plans at www.facebook.com/BuildingTheMission.

Repeats
- As our math concepts become tougher, it is important that students have the multiplication facts memorized. Please encourage extra practice at home! Click here for some ideas that could be tweaked for multiplication facts; a website that we often use in class is this one.

- Save the date: Third and fourth graders will sing at Zion's 11:00 a.m. church service this Sunday, April 21.

- Instead of an April reading calendar, students should complete The Littles book report project, which will be due on Tuesday, April 30.

- Third graders are leading prayer during Zion's morning announcements.
