- Our Valentine's Day party will be on Thursday, February 13. Please note that we have 19 students in our class, and you can find a list of names on the information page of this blog. Also, please note Zion's new school-wide policy that candy should not be included with valentines. (Pencils, erasers, or temporary tattoos would be good alternatives.)

We will have NO school on Monday, February 17 (President's Day). Make-up snow days will be considered at the end of the school year, if needed.

- If your student wants to earn a free ticket to Six Flags this summer, the "Read to Succeed" form should be returned bMonday, February 24.

- Save the date: Grandparents Day will be on Friday, March 14.

- As we trudge through cold and flu season, please remember Zion's "24-hours of vomit/fever-free without medication" policy before sending your child back to school.
